Publisher Growth · The Tofu Group

Grow the website you already own.

SEO, content, AdSense readiness and monetisation strategy for independent publishers and website owners who want more from the sites they already own.

Built from the publisher side

We work on publisher sites because we operate content sites too. That changes the questions we ask: not just what can rank, but what deserves editorial time, what helps a site earn, what should be maintained, and what is probably not worth doing yet.

Where is your site stuck?

Start with the problem you are actually trying to solve.

The work changes depending on whether the immediate constraint is approval, discovery or monetisation. Keeping those problems separate makes the next step much clearer.

Before you publish more

The archive may be a bigger growth opportunity than the next 50 articles.

Content sites accumulate years of decisions. Pages overlap, old winners decay, strong articles become buried and editorial calendars keep moving forward even when some of the easiest opportunities are already sitting in Search Console. We would rather understand that history first than prescribe another content quota.

That can lead to new publishing, but it can just as easily lead to better internal links, a smaller refresh queue, a merge, a redirect, a cleaner category structure or a decision to leave a page alone.

What we look at

Publisher growth sits across search, content, UX and monetisation.

A useful publisher review connects these areas rather than treating each one as a separate optimisation project.

SEARCH

Search Console & organic visibility

Clicks, impressions, ranking ranges, CTR, query patterns and the sections of the archive Google already understands.

ARCHIVE

Content quality & refresh decisions

What should be updated, merged, expanded, redirected, newly created or deliberately left alone.

STRUCTURE

Internal linking & site architecture

Whether important content is easy to reach and whether related pages work together as a coherent publication.

TRUST

Editorial & AdSense readiness

Ownership, authorship, navigation, policies, site completeness and the visible quality of the publication as a whole.

EXPERIENCE

Mobile UX & page experience

How the site reads and navigates on smaller screens, including clutter, intrusive elements and paths into related content.

BUSINESS

Monetisation-aware priorities

How traffic growth supports ads, affiliates, sponsorship, products, services or whatever the publication is ultimately built to earn from.

How we work

Small steps before another big publishing push.

We use the same Small Steps Growth Framework here: diagnose the real constraint, prioritise the smallest useful set of changes, prove what moves, and only then scale content or spend.

01

Diagnose

Understand the archive, traffic, monetisation model and the problem the owner is actually trying to solve.

02

Prioritise

Choose the pages, sections and site changes with the clearest evidence rather than producing a flat audit checklist.

03

Prove

Measure the effect through Search Console, analytics, revenue or another signal that makes sense for the publication.

04

Scale

Publish more, expand a topic or invest further when the earlier work has given you a reason to do so.

The broader diagnostic

Publisher Growth Audit

If several things feel wrong at once, the full audit connects SEO, archive quality, site structure, AdSense readiness and monetisation into a practical 30–90 day order of operations.

Frequently asked questions

Questions from publisher and website owners.

Can you guarantee AdSense approval?

No. Google decides whether a site is approved, and no consultant can guarantee that outcome. We can review the site against the kinds of content, navigation, user-experience and policy issues Google asks publishers to address, then tell you what we would improve before you submit or reapply.

Do you only work with websites that already have traffic?

No. We can work with newer publisher sites as well, although the useful work changes when there is very little search data. Established sites give us more evidence through Search Console and their existing archive; newer sites usually need stronger foundations, clearer editorial scope and better site structure first.

Will you tell us to publish more content?

Only when the evidence supports it. If the site already has a substantial archive, we usually want to understand what is ranking, what has declined, what overlaps and which pages are close to meaningful gains before adding another large batch of articles.

Can you help after a major Google traffic drop?

Yes. Traffic recovery starts with diagnosis rather than mass rewriting. We look at whether the decline is sitewide or page-specific, which queries and sections changed, whether indexation or technical issues are involved, and whether content quality, competition or search demand has shifted.

Can you help increase AdSense earnings?

We can work on the parts of the site that influence monetisation, including traffic quality, content mix, page depth, navigation, session paths and the relationship between editorial decisions and ad-supported revenue. We do not promise a particular RPM or earnings figure because advertiser demand, geography, seasonality and other factors remain outside our control.

Do you need access to Search Console or AdSense?

Not for an initial conversation. Public-site review plus screenshots or CSV exports are usually enough to start. If deeper account access would materially improve the work, we can discuss the minimum access needed for that specific scope.

A useful first look

You do not need to know which service you need before contacting us.
